Museums and galleries in Suffolk

We give grant aid to three independent museums in Suffolk. They are:

• Gainsborough's House in Sudbury
• the Long Shop Museum in Leiston
• the Food Museum in Stowmarket

Association for Suffolk Museums

We also grant aid to the Association for Suffolk Museums (AfSM), which is an independent charity and membership organisation. It brings together over 60 voluntary and professionally staffed museums in Suffolk.

The AfSM provides a forum for museum development, as well as acting as a network in which museums across the county can share expertise and resources.
