Pay for school meals

Pay online for school meals for primary or middle school children and read about the choice of food provided.

There is a scheduled maintenance on our payment systems on the 3rd Sunday of every month between 4:30am and 6:30am.

Please do not make any payments during this time.

Your child's school will advise the cost of meals. This is available once you have selected your school using the Proceed to payment option below.

You can pay:

  • for more than one child at the same school or another school
  • by credit or debit card

Paying takes about 5 minutes. It's quicker and easier to pay for your child's schools meals online.

Our online services are safe to use. You can read our online service safety page to find out more about the security of our websites, online forms and portals.

About school meals

Lunches provided in primary schools include a hot two-course meal with the choice of main courses, vegetables, salads and desserts. There's also a vegetarian option and options for some special dietary requirements.

Secondary schools provide a cafeteria area for pupils to buy food with their own money. Prices and the choice of food offered can vary between schools.

Middle schools either have a traditional meal service like primary schools or a cafeteria-style service similar to secondary schools.

For further details of lunchtime menus, visit the Eats website, part of Vertas Ltd, which is wholly owned by Suffolk County Council.
