Suffolk County Council consulted on a proposal to extend the accommodation at Brooklands Primary School from 210 places to 315 places. The proposal includes some minor internal remodelling to create an additional classroom and construction of a new standalone block to provide three classrooms, a studio, a small group room and toilets. The proposal also includes associated external work to provide additional staff/visitor parking and provide an artificial turf pitch.
This non-statutory pre-application planning consultation will enable us to gather the views of parents, local residents and potential building users prior to the submission of the planning application and does not affect the right to comment on the proposals during the statutory planning consultation process.
