Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing Hub (east and west Suffolk)

Information, advice and support for anyone concerned about the emotional wellbeing and mental health of a child or young person aged 0 to 25 years.

If you need urgent mental health crisis support:

  • call NHS 111 and press the mental health option for 24/7 mental health crisis support, for anyone of any age.
  • contact the Samaritans
  • call 999 if it's a life threatening emergency.

The emotional wellbeing hub provides access to NHS Children and Adolescence Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for families in east and west Suffolk.

Parents and carers can make a referral to the emotional wellbeing hub if they are concerned about the mental health of a child or young person aged 0-25 years. Or you can speak to your GP who can make the referral on your behalf.

Just One Number (Lowestoft and Waveney)

Just One Number provides access to NHS Children and Adolescence Mental Health Services (CAMHS), as well as information, advice and guidance on mental health support for families who live in Lowestoft and Waveney.

You contact the Just One Number on 0300 300 0123 or visit the Just One Norfolk website.

The FYI Norfolk website provides mental health advice and support for young people in Norfolk and Waveney.

Young people in East and West Suffolk aged 11-25 years old, and young people in Lowestoft and Waveney aged 10-19 years old, can contact Kooth online counselling service for free and confidential support for anything they are worried about.
