Lifeworks delivers life-changing support, specifically addressing skills gaps and boosting confidence within the veteran community. The Warrior Programme aims to help members of the armed forces community transition and settle into civilian life. It’s FREE.

Each programme is an intensive training course which helps people develop methods of resilience and manage emotions, deal with everyday life as well as help with focus and achievement. Delivered online over 5 days or face-to-face residential over 3-days), the course is followed by 12 months of ongoing help, which includes regular refresher session and online support.

The Poppy Factory: Out-Reach Work Placements and Employment (wounded, injured or sick). The Poppy Factory uses its unique expertise to help clients all over the UK to find meaningful and sustainable employment within many supportive commercial organisations. The Poppy Factory has a vision that “no disabled veteran who wants to work should be out of work” and aims to become the recruitment provider of choice for its ex-Forces clients and for employers alike. Walking with the Wounded: First Steps (employment support wounded, injured or sick). First Steps is designed to provide access to entry level, formal education or vocational training and to support other necessary costs relating to education or establishing a new career. We aim to support wounded, injured or sick veterans to identify their new career path and then gain the qualifications and tools necessary for them to make a successful move into civilian life.
