Brockley Wood Quarry

Following the recent Judicial Review, the County Council has to redetermine the planning application for the new quarry Brockley Wood. This is not a new application, although the applicant has submitted further information in response to the issues raised in the Judicial Review.

Statutory bodies and neighbours, including those that responded originally have been invited to review the further information, as part of a further round of public consultation.

The application will be represented to the County Council’s Development and Regulation Committee for redetermination in early 2025, at which the application and the responses received will be considered afresh. The date of the committee will be confirmed in advance.

The County Council has commissioned an independent report on landscape from LDA Design Consulting Ltd on the landscape issues raised during the Judicial Review. The landscape report is available to view through the register.
