Fast track to Arboriculture - level 2

This course aims to:

• Provide learners with the opportunity to acquire the essential skills, knowledge and understanding required for employment in forestry and related industries, and enable them to progress to advanced study
• Provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment for learners to develop their potential contribution to forestry and associated industries
• Develop underpinning knowledge within the subject area, by promoting and encouraging the development of new techniques and learning activities.

You'll learn:

• Chainsaw maintenance and cross-cutting
• Felling and processing trees up to 380mm
• Climb trees and rescue
• Aerial cutting of trees with a chainsaw.

You may also have the opportunity to learn:

• Emergency first aid
• LANTRA basic tree inspecting.
