Suffolk Professional Portal

A portal for care professionals to complete and submit forms delegated by us in relation to a client.

How does the professional portal work?

Once a form has been sent (delegated) to you, you will receive an email notification from noreply@suffolk.gov.uk with a link to the portal.

After this link has been selected you will be asked to either:

  • create a new portal account
  • log in to an existing portal account

When you have created an account and successfully logged in, you will be able to:

  • see your task list
  • access all delegated forms

Everything on the portal is stored securely in line with our organisational privacy notices.

You will not need to create a new portal account until you receive the notification email.

Registering for the portal

To register you'll need to:

  • enter your first name and surname
  • enter your email address
  • create a password (8 characters including an upper-case letter, a number and a special character)

You will then be emailed a unique verification code which is valid for 10 minutes. Once it’s expired you will need to begin the process again. The registration process is only complete once the code is entered and accepted.

The code can take up to 5 minutes to arrive.

If it doesn’t arrive within 5 minutes, check your spam/ junk/ clutter folders

You may want to add noreply@suffolk.gov.uk to your trusted sender list to avoid future emails being sent to these folders.

You should always check with your IT/ email provider to make sure emails from noreply@suffolk.gov.uk are not being blocked, delayed or temporarily quarantined. Your IT/ email provider may need to update their spam email policies to ensure these emails are delivered to your mailbox without delay.

Logging into your portal

To log into the portal, use your email address and the password used to register.

Each time you log in a unique verification code will be emailed to you. This is valid for 10 minutes and can only be used once.

Please allow time for the login verification code to arrive before requesting another one. By requesting another verification code the first code generated will not work.

If you have trouble logging in

When creating a new account, logging in, or resetting your password, you will be sent a verification code within 1-2 minutes, which will be valid for 10 minutes.

If you don’t receive one, or it’s taking a while to arrive, please:

  1. Check your junk/ spam folder
  2. Make sure your email address is correct
  3. Make sure you are using the most recent verification code, as previous codes won’t work
  4. Contact your organisation’s IT department to make sure they haven’t blocked or quarantined emails from noreply@suffolk.gov.uk

You can use the same login details for the Adult Care portal and the Children and Young People portal.

To use the Professional Portal you will need to create a separate account.
