Nicola Beach, who joined in May 2018, is the Chief Executive of Suffolk County Council's paid staff and sets our aims and manages its performance.

As the Chief Executive, Nicola is responsible for managing the daily operations of the council on behalf of Suffolk’s 75 councillors to deliver our priorities:

inclusive growth
health, care and wellbeing
efficient and effective public services

Our Chief Executive is committed to ensuring the very best for the people of Suffolk and as the organisation continues to rise to the financial challenge, ensures that local people, businesses and communities have the opportunity to influence any proposed service or policy changes.
