North Falls Offshore Windfarm – Scottish and Southern Electricity/RWE

North Falls Offshore Windfarm is a proposed extension to the existing Greater Gabbard windfarm consisting of up to 72 turbines.

The site is located 24.5km from the port of Lowestoft at its nearest point.

The scheme will make landfall between Frinton and Holland-on-Sea in Tendring, Essex, the scheme will connect to the National Grid in Ardleigh which will in turn connect to the new substation constructed as part of the Norwich to Tilbury project (formerly known as East Anglia GREEN).
