About the proposals

The scheme aims to upgrade key sections along the A12, spanning from the A14/Seven Hills junction and the A1152/Woods Lane junction. The proposals would help to tackle congestion, provide space for future growth and improve conditions for all road users including pedestrians and cyclists.

About the consultation

The scheme was previously consulted on in 2021, as part of work to develop designs and an Outline Business Case.

In Autumn 2024, we held a further public consultation exercise to share information about the updated proposals and gather feedback from the community. The consultation ran for six weeks between Wednesday 18 September and Tuesday 29 October 2024.

The consultation period is now closed.
